The government would just electe more ‘dumb’ politicians to offset the difference.
Why have we, as an electorate, let this thing happen? Or did others make it happen to us? I don’t mean conspiracies, but I do mean opportunists that seize upon changes so forcefully that they seem like they were driven by a pre-existing conspiracy.
The offset would be that we wouldn’t have people to blame when things go wrong.
