I told my daughter yesterday that if she wanted to maximize her chances of getting scholarships she should read as much as possible. Upon reflection, reading as much as possible is good, regardless of age. So go read. Wikipedia is good, because it usually leads to more reading elsewhere. So read. Enjoy. Find one of those books that’s supposed to be totally awesome and find out why.
Reading is such an important skill! By reading more, one can learn how to be a better leader. Even reading textbooks for fun can help with this. For example, when I read my biology textbook last year, I was able to help my peers and explain what we were learning in class in great detail. This was very helpful to them because learning from a fellow peer is completely different than learning from the teacher herself.
