The Benjamin Franklin You Probably Never Read

There’s a reason Benjamin Franklin was very much in favor of the First Amendment’s protections on speech: he was a dirty old man that loved to write all kinds of crazy stuff. If you don’t mind a touch of scatological humor, then Franklin’s “To the Royal Academy” is up your alley, so to speak.

This is very surprsing to know that Benjamin Franklin had this sort of personality. His thoughts were provoking and quite interesting.

“To discover some Drug wholesome & not disagreable, to be mix’d with our common Food, or Sauces, that shall render the natural Discharges of Wind from our Bodies, not only inoffensive, but agreable as Perfumes.” (as perfumes? LOL)
