Twas the night before Christmas, and under the couch
\nThe roaches did scurry; before crumbs did they crouch<\/p>\n
They made do with the things that rolled under there
\nsearching for food amidst the dust bunnies and dog hair<\/p>\n
As the roaches set about eating their usual fare
\nThey saw emerging from the chimney a sight that made reason stare!<\/p>\n
A jolly old elf, red-clad, bearded and stout
\nBegan to ho ho ho and toss presents about <\/p>\n
His cheer was curtailed when he saw milk and a plate
\nHe shook his head and said “More cookies. Just great.”<\/p>\n
“If I ate all the cookies the good folks left out
\nI’d be wasting away from diabetes and gout!”<\/p>\n
Santa could lose the milk down the sink
\nBut what with the cookies? Well, what do you think?<\/p>\n
He crumbled them well and he crumbled them good
\nAnd then he trod carefully on the floorboard wood<\/p>\n
Under the crouch he shoved all the crumbs
\nAnd the thankful roaches smacked all of their gums!<\/p>\n
Santa was pleased that he’d avoid a sugar blast
\nAnd the roaches had their Christmas feast at last!<\/p>\n
Santa fed the roaches, and before you say “Ew!”
\nRemember that roaches is God’s creatures, too!<\/p>\n
