MAKE OVERS: RINDA

Oh. My. This is NOT a good picture, at all. See for yourself:

NOBODY should ever be that yellow! It's unhealthy! From going over the picture, I figure she was at a club where a very yellow scene appeared on a teevee screen. It was a picture of some guy singing, from looking at the darker yellow patches in some of the copies I worked with. The key area was getting the face to get de-yellowified, but in such a way that it looked smooth and even. Most methods I tried floundered because of that singer dude being a hint darker than the rest of the yellow garbage. But I persevered...

I took those two faces and layered them back into the main image and set the second to blend only with colors and the other to be normal. This way, I got a fairly good start at getting a proper skin tone for her.

Good start, like I said, but I need to fix the outlines of the hair...

It's blended nicely, but there needs to be more color in the image. I add a reddish filter to everything, blending only the colors.

Back to smoothing the borders of the face/neck area, which got brought out by my adding color...

... and the facial features... there!

Oh yeah. I think I fixed it up a bunch. It may nnot make the cover of Cosmo, but she doesn't look like the poster child for the World Jaundice Fund...

For fun, I tried the "India Ink" filter because I thought it would make a pretty picture...

And a litle "aetherize" from Flaming Pear filters gave me this...
